CB3’s latest release, Aeons is fundamentally sound and soothingly galactic. Swedish veterans aka Charlottas Burning Trio have been a breath of fresh air since day one. Their consistent sound does not look to hit risky boundaries or dive into bizarre territory, rather the band continues to crank their atmospherically soothing mix of stoner undercurrents laced with intricate jazz inspired fretwork. Their library will buttress the backbone of your collection, we strongly recommend you take the time to peruse.
Track Listing :
1. Zodiac (3:51)
2. Sonic Blaze (6:49)
3. Acid Haze (9:07)
4. Warrior Queen (7:25)
5. Apocalypse (5:00)
Standout Track :
"Warrior Queen" takes the prize for its majestic melodies and dramatic contrast. We love the wild mood swings on this one. Layers of impressive fretwork and an onslaught of percussive genius by Salomonsson.
Adult Beverage Pairing:
Love the Swedish brewed porter, Carnegie, coming in at 5.5% ABV. Rich and soothing caramel notes that blend so well with Aeons.

Final Thoughts:
The Swedes are just solid. Again, nothing dramatic to write home about but solid as fuck. Start to finish the album is a nice fluid ride captivated by a jazz-infused meandering closer that will impress nonetheless. Instrumental rock fans need to check-out the trio’s full library.
