Crank this to 9.5 of 11 - Editors' Pick
Released: 2021
Genre: Stoner rock
Sounds Like: Kyuss, Brant Bjork
Homeland: California
Album Overview
Laid back, chillin' stoner rock from California desert legends Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri and Ryan Gut
The bass work of Mr. Oliveri is slightly distorted and very low toned. We recommend turning up with caution, it will test some of the best speakers out there
Brant's classic guitars and vocals flow beautifully throughout, creating the chill atmosphere
Ryan Gut's drumming is dense and provides a steady stoned groove
Stoners Rule may not the most exploratory stoner album out there, but it doesn't need to be. The heavenly bluesy fuzz is magical and just feels right
This is basically a no brainer for fans of the genre. We love the classic Brant Bjork heavy vibe fused with early Kyuss bass work. Another fantastic stoner rock album to absorb this summer

13 minutes of tribal stoner jamming... a classic desert tune.
